Our mission is to empower adults with diverse needs and our veteran community to coddiwomple—to travel with purpose, even when the destination is secondary to the journey itself. We bridge the gap in the travel industry by creating supportive, community-driven cruises and day trips where every traveler can find belonging, adventure, and the freedom to explore.
Coddiwomple Adventures is the result of many years fine tuning a lasting legacy. Our founder, Trish, was introduced to the world of accessible trips by her former coworker and dear friend Neil Menzies. At the time Neil was running Special Excursions, which was founded in 2003, with a small group of clients from New Horizons and invited Trish to accompany him on her first excursion in 2013. After that she became a regular chaperone on their Carnival Cruise trips. In 2019 Neil unfortunately lost his battle with cancer and passed the torch to Trish. Since then she has built many powerful connections across multiple fields to build Coddiwomple Adventures, and its team, into what it is today. Neil's status as a military veteran has also influenced our decision to expand his legacy to invite the veteran community to join us on our trips.
Our trips are completely self funded by our clientele and our staff. Any donations will go towards covering portions of trips and/or paying for trip essentials like gas, transportation, snacks, and other necessities. If you're interested, please direct donations here. We appreciate your tax deductible contribution!
